Global Issues And Entrepreneurship

“We live in a complex, hyper-connected, and uncertain world,” the self-made woman believes. “Gone are the days when we could predict what would happen in the future. We need to develop new competencies to navigate through uncertainty and constant changes, but there is no reason to lose hope. Today’s resources, global communities, and technology give the entrepreneur a fantastic opportunity to collaborate and bring creative solutions to global issues,” she told Transcontinental Times.

Citing an example from the World Economic Forum on how Africa Improved Foods in collaboration with the local stakeholders to address Rwanda’s malnourished children issue, Salcé explained how global issues and entrepreneurship go hand in hand, especially in contemporary times. To work for the betterment of children, the stakeholders asked for support from other international leaders and experts from both the public and private sectors. “They worked together, determining how best to produce fortified products,” she said. Unfortunately, 25% of children worldwide still face the same issue, she added.

Entrepreneurship: Key To Transform

Entrepreneurship, according to Salcé is a critical mindset to develop, regardless of the industry or career path. The much-needed skill comes with resilience, creativity and innovation, to keep up with the times, the entrepreneur told TCT.

Given the pandemic situation, many companies have already allowed their employees to work from home. In the coming times, Salcé said, there will be a rise in freelancer hiring or project-based collaborators instead of full-time employees. The new generation prefers self-employment rather than working for people. Overly competitive, young talents seek to develop their careers and lifestyles by creating their own brands, products and services, she stated.

Life As An Executive Coach

What has inspired the successful businesswoman? Salcé is influenced by projects and initiatives that have a positive impact on communities.

Salcé is passionate about unlocking potential and cultivating happiness.

The self-dependent entrepreneur believes in making a difference, breaking the status quo in conservative sectors, transforming cultures, leading with a human-centered approach, showing compassion, courage and vulnerability.

Talking about cultural differences and unique strengths she said, “We are planting the seed of positive change in the world. We are full of color, and that diversity fascinates me. It is powerful and beautiful.”

“Neuroscience brings positive results for human potential. It is full of hope and there is no limit to it. I am curious to explore and work with talents by witnessing their blossoming, this fills me with purpose,” she added.

Piece Of Advice

Salcé’s advice to the youth is — treat failure and success as two good imposters.

“Stay humble and focused on your purpose. Mistakes are the best opportunities to learn, grow, innovate and are part of the journey. Stop looking outside for what you need to discover inside you. Embark on a journey of self-knowledge, know yourself very well, your strengths, and believe in your ideas. Enjoy the process! You don’t have to do it alone, you will find global support. And don’t forget to strike the balance between your career, health, family and friends,” she concluded.
