INDIA. Mumbai: A British-era bomb was found while the road repairs and other works were underway at Kohinoor Housing Society near Chroma Centre in Pimpri in Pune district creating a commotion in the area, on Monday morning.

The bomb was found when excavation work was going on in the society compound. After spotting the bomb, the bomb detection and disposal squad of the Pimpri police led by ACP Sagar Kawade rushed to the spot. The area was cordoned off and the inspection was carried out. A retired army officer was contacted over a video phone call. He confirmed that the object resembled the bomb used in the war.
