UNITED STATES: The DC FanDome came to an end with the unveiling of the trailer for Batman 2022 and it was well worth the 4 hours wait for the DC carnival to end. The second trailer introduces Robert Pattinson as the Dark Knight in Gotham’s darkest incarnation.

The first trailer for Batman, which debuted at the DC FanDome last year, shows a detailed look at the Dark Knight and James Gordon. Nirvana’s song Something in the Way adds an additional depth of intrigue to the peek of the Cape Crusader.

The second trailer begins with Paul Dano’s Riddler, who is once again obscured by shadows. His existence is confirmed by his signature mark on the cup of coffee. As Matt Reeves adds the zodiac killer touch to the Riddler, it gives the persona a more genuine feel. Because this edition of the Dark Knight will focus more on detective features, keeping the killers’ identities hidden is a fantastic idea from a murder mystery standpoint.

The new movie poster depicts the Riddler in his true form, which is much darker and sinister. Giving off the vibes of a cold-blooded serial killer who doubts society’s morals. This version of the Riddler will be unlike any other depiction based on the original material. As a result, the dark knight is pitted against a perfect enigmatic antagonist.

The darker and bloodier tone of the notion is confirmed by the red and black theme of the trailers and movie posters. This version of Batman, like the previous one, will adhere to the no-kill rule. This time, though, his methods are more brutal than any prior depiction of Batman, as evidenced by the action sequences depicted in the trailers.

Matt Reeves drew inspiration for the film from David Fincher’s Seven from 1995. The similarities can be observed in the first trailer, which shows a shot-by-shot comparison of both films. The unnamed city in the Seven films can be assumed to be a darker version of Gotham.

In addition to Batman, the trailer focuses on Zoe Kravitz’s Catwoman. In her professional thief mode, Selina Kyle can be seen. As always, the chemistry between her and Batman is fantastic. It’s also possible that she’s the Dark Knight’s love interest.

Colin Farrell’s performance as Penguin is unrecognizable, as the actor was compelled to operate in a bodysuit to entirely transform his appearance as Oswald Cobblepot. He may be seen going toe-to-toe with batman, including the famous batmobile chasing action, and his point of view demonstrates how reckless and unstoppable batman is. Andy Serkis as Alfred appears to be a remarkable option for the role, since he may be seen advising Bruce Wayne in his quest as usual.

The trailer suggests this version of Batman may be more riveting than earlier incarnations due to the mix of visually gorgeous cinematography and outstanding action sequences.
