INDIA: A well-known Marathi actor to star in Vivek Ranjan Agnihothri’s highly anticipated film The Kashmiri Files. Chinmay Mandlekar will be seen portraying the role of Farooq Malik Bitta.

The Kashmiri Files is written and directed by Vivek Agnihotri, who has previously directed notable films such as Buddha in a Traffic Jam (2016) and The Tashkent Files (2019). Among his works, The Tashkent Files was a smash hit.

The film’s ensemble cast includes National Awardee winners Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, and Pallavi Joshi. It also stars prominent actors such as Prakash Belawadi, Puneet Issar, Chinmay Mandlekar, Darshan Kumaar, Bhasha Sumbli, Amaan Iqbal, Prithviraj Sarnaik, and Atul Srivastava.

Chinmay Mandlekar is a popular actor in the Marathi film industry for playing the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Farzand (2018) and Fatteshikast (2017). The actor has played a significant role in the highly acclaimed film Halal (2017). His well-known presence, as well as his extensive acting experience and exceptional acting abilities, ensure that his appearance in the film will do full credit to his character.

The motion poster reads “Indian dogs go back.” Mandlekar will play the role of Farooq Malik Bitta, popularly known as Bitta. The character of Farooq Malik is based on the real-life terrorist Farooq Ahmed Dar, who is also the current chairman of the Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front. During the Kashmir genocide in the 1990s, Dar was responsible for the murder of Kashmiri Hindus.
