Due to spike in COVID-19 cases a week-long lockdown has been imposed in Amravati district in the Vidarbha region of Eastern Maharashtra. Wardha, Washim, and Yavatmal in the same region, observed a lockdown on Saturday and Sunday. The district administration in Pune shut down schools and coaching centers till February 28 because of rising cases in the state. Similarly, the political, religious, and social gatherings have been banned throughout the state.
The recent “ASEAN-India Hackathon-2021” organized by the Union Ministry of Education and the Union Ministry of External Affairs provided the best opportunity to present their talents to the students. The participating students were awarded attractive prizes.
