Entrepreneur Rinku Jain Reviving And Restructuring The Handloom Sector Across India

INDIA: Rinku Jain is an entrepreneur with a firm determination to work and create opportunities for the upliftment of the underprivileged. Previously, Jain has been involved with several projects like Reviving the Handloom Sector in Telangana and Inclusion of the Specially Abled people in Businesses. She believes that these sectors shouldn’t be ignored.

Talking about this, Jain said, “People have skill and capability but not the right direction in sectors of this kind. Through entrepreneurship, I intend to urge all the upcoming entrepreneurs to make the lives of the not so privileged better by creating opportunities for them, given that they have tremendous potential.”

Rinku Jain is a passionate entrepreneur, sports enthusiast, and the Founder of a Fashion Tech Startup named IJaitra. On the academic front, she completed her Engineering Degree in Electrical and Electronics from BITS Pilani, India. Soon after, she had a brief stint at Infosys and was a part of other initiatives. Along with this, she has undergone an entrepreneurship program with Bocconi University, Italy. Jain is currently pursuing an executive program in Management for Senior Executives from the Indian School of Business.

Jain’s startup IJaitra is a fashion e-tailer that is dedicated to review, sustain and empower heirloom traditions from across India. IJaitra consistently works towards embracing change, redefining fashion, setting trends, and making a difference. The creations connect the elements of minimalism and grandeur, Western and Indian Silhouettes, traditional motifs, modern drapes, and feminine forms.

Entrepreneurship And Value Creation

Jain believes that entrepreneurship is the best way to manifest one’s imagination to the fullest potential. It is about creating opportunity, by creating the demand and the need for things that we didn’t even know if we needed.

“I am extremely passionate about what I do and when one has a lust for something, there is no end to the imagination and the wonders that one can create.”

Talking about her entrepreneurial journey, Jain said, “ Entrepreneurship is all about solving problems, creating value for people, and contributing back to society. Nothing could have been more empowering and exciting than this for me to start my entrepreneurial journey.”

Digitizing Entrepreneurship To Make An Impact

With the use of Technology and resources today, Entrepreneurship brings in smarter ways to solve problems. Today one can leverage the resources from any part of the world.
“The societal ills seem very daunting. But with technology continuously evolving, History has taught us not to lose hope. We see a much greater Global Collaboration and it will increase to a much greater level going forward. entrepreneurship today aims at creating a social impact. Brands with a commitment to sustainability seem to grow at a higher percentage than their competitors,” Jain added.

Since we are heading towards the Entrepreneurial age, Going Digital is the key to the next global cultural phenomenon. With technologies like AI, ML, and IOT on the rise there will be a lot of automation that will replace manual labor jobs.

“A lot of people today will choose to forge the path of entrepreneurship and be the masters of their destiny. Eco-friendly solutions will give a competitive edge. Social Enterprises will create a positive influence on the mindset of a consumer than only Profit-driven businesses with a rise in the emphasis on morals and ethics,” Jain added.

While giving a message to the aspiring entrepreneurs Jain said, “Be a problem solver and create a difference to the society. You will find a lot of Naysayers in your journey but believe in yourself and move ahead. Be committed, passionate, resilient, and perseverant.”
