INDIA: Eshan Harsh, a first-year student of Amity University – Jaipur, has his two short films “Life in Lockdown” and “Jaipur Activists” competing in the Competition Category at the Cinemaking International Film Festival to be held in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The festival will be held from December 24, 2020.

Eshan’s film “Jaipur Activists”  is designed to bring awareness that just by putting some posts and stories online and creating awareness online to clean the city is not enough. To make a real change, you yourself need to take initiative to clean your city on your own.  Prior to this, this film has been screened in more than 9+ Film Festivals across the globe and has won awards. When the world is going through the effects of COVID – 19, Eshan’s short film “Life in Lockdown” is about a woman who is caged in her own home and thinks how life can be lived with limited resources like fishes in an aquarium.

Eshan’s short films have been selected in more than 13 film festivals around the world and have been honored with many awards. Eshan is also a jury member of the Reel Youth Film Festival of Canada for the last 2 years. He is also the State Executive Member of the Indian Film Makers Association, Rajasthan.
