Don Cheadle-starrer Armor Wars series is modified into a film

Armor Wars will follow the journey of Don Cheadle as Colonel James Rhodes, which will be loosely adapted from David Michelinie and Bob Layton’s seven-issue storyline of Iron Man comics published from 1987 to 1988. The title will cover the events after Tony Stark’s death, which will be based on the concept of Stark technology falling into the wrong hands.

Marvel Entertainment made the announcement on Twitter. The tweet read, ‘’Marvel Studios’ Armor Wars, starring Don Cheadle, will debut as a feature film.’’

According to the tweet, the Don Cheadle starrer show will now be released as a full-fledged movie. The title was earlier announced as a series set to debut on Disney+, but now it will directly arrive on big screens. Yassir Lester, who was earlier confirmed as a major writer for the show, will now pen the story of the upcoming film.

In 2020, Marvel announced Armor Wars, featuring Don Cheadle as War Machine, which hyped the fans that their favourite superhero is getting a series. Given the movie announcement, it appears that the excitement level of the audience has been catapulted to the next level.
