INDIA: The renowned choreographer and actor Prabhu Deva rejoiced in parental bliss at 50. The choreographer married for the second time in 2020, and after three years, his wife, Himani Singh, delivered a baby girl on June 12, 2023.
Prabhu Deva accepted everyone’s wishes and told a news channel, “Yes! It is true! I am a father again at this age [50].”
Prabhu Deva told the media that he feels quite happy and complete and that he has already reduced his workload. He went on to say that he felt he was doing too much work by rushing around. He also stated that he is finished with that and wishes to spend time with family.
The master of dance, Prabhu Deva, was earlier married to Ramlath and had three sons – Vishal, Rishi Raghavendra Deva and Adith Deva. However, Vishal, suffering from cancer, passed away in 2008, and later the couple parted ways from their marriage in 2010.
Some rumours milled that Prabhu Deva divorced his wife due to his affair with Lady Superstar Nayanthara.
Now, the choreographer also has been vocal about his personal life and revealed he wants to spend quality time with his newborn.
Prabhu Deva married Dr Himani, a physiotherapist, during the peak of COVID, in an intimate gathering. According to reports, the actor met her after hearing about her from a friend who knew he needed help for his persistent back problems. They fell in love during the course of the therapeutic sessions, as per media reports.
Later, the duo got married. The couple made their first public appearance in April 2023, visiting Tirupati to seek blessings. She was wearing a mask when several images and videos of her went viral back then.
