UNITED STATES: Shoei, a renowned name in high-end helmet manufacturing, is raising the bar for off-road riders with its latest innovation, the VFX-WR 06.

Designed specifically for motocross and enduro raiding, this full-face helmet comes equipped with cutting-edge safety features and has received the highly regarded ECE R22.06 certification.

The VFX-WR 06 serves as the successor to the standard VFX-WR, and Shoei has gone the extra mile to ensure it conforms to the latest European safety standard. Despite its off-road focus, the helmet remains incredibly lightweight, providing riders with both comfort and optimal protection on their daring adventures.

Key to its safety enhancements is the AIM+ (Advanced Integrated Matrix) composite fiber shell construction. Shoei’s AIM and AIM+ shells have long been praised for their superior impact absorption and dissipation properties.

For the VFX-WR 06, the company has optimized these shells by offering four different sizes, resulting in a total of eight helmet sizes. This approach aligns perfectly with the new ECE R22.06 standard, which mandates optimized shell sizes to maximize protection.

Delving into the interior, the VFX-WR 06 features a multi-density EPS foam liner, incorporating the innovative MEDS (Motion Energy Distribution System) technology. MEDS plays a crucial role in reducing the likelihood of injuries resulting from rotational impacts to the head.

The polystyrene insert enables the helmet to move slightly around the head, mitigating the force transmitted to the brain during certain impacts.

As with all Shoei helmets, the VFX-WR 06 comes with a fully removable and washable 3D Max-Dry interior liner. The liner, consisting of a cap and cheek pads, is offered in various thicknesses to achieve an optimized fit for individual riders.

Additionally, the helmet is equipped with an emergency release system to ensure quick and safe removal in case of unforeseen circumstances.

Riders can rest assured that comfort is not sacrificed for safety. The VFX-WR 06 is designed with an array of ventilation ports at the front as well as extractors at the rear and neck, providing optimal airflow for a refreshing riding experience.

In terms of pricing and availability, the VFX-WR 06 will hit the European market at a starting price of 539 Euros (approximately USD 593). The helmet will be available in a wide selection of colours, including three plain options and four graphic designs.

Furthermore, it will be offered in sizes ranging from XS to XXL. For specific pricing and availability information in your region, be sure to visit Shoei’s official website or reach out to your local gear retailer.

With the launch of the VFX-WR 06, Shoei once again proves its commitment to innovation, safety, and rider satisfaction. Off-road enthusiasts can gear up with confidence, knowing they have the best-in-class helmet protecting them as they tackle challenging terrain and embrace the thrill of motocross and enduro riding.
