India’s First Smart Glasses, Ambrane Glares Launched

INDIA: Ambrane Glares, the first pair of smart glasses from the Indian tech startup, has been released. Glares are open-ear audio glasses with inconspicuous speakers built right into the frame.

The smart glasses also feature a speaker system, Bluetooth v5.1, and a Two Lens option that lets you change lenses based on your environment. With just two hours of charging, the Indian manufacturer claims a battery life of seven hours. It also claims that the sunglasses includes UV protection and both round and square lens forms

Ambrane Glares Features

On the temple of the glasses (above the ears), Ambrane Glares have built-in speakers that offer touch controls. The company states that they have HD surround sound and an in-built microphone.

Users can answer or reject calls, adjust the music being played, and make voice assistant calls using the touch controls. The Ambrane Glares have Bluetooth v5.1 connection and are compatible with iOS and Android devices.

The glasses are available in both round and square shapes, as was previously noted. For convenient screen time, they contain glasses that block out blue light.

The two-lens option allows users to swap out the lenses to fit their environment. The Ambrane Glares are UV400 certified and are advertised as providing 99.99 per cent UV and radiation protection.

The Ambrane Glares, according to Ambrane, have a hall switch that activates as soon as the temple doors are opened. The IPX4-rated smart glasses are promised to have a 7-hour battery life after just two hours of charging and are water resistant.

Ambrane Glares are priced at Rs. 9,999 in India. It is now being sold for Rs. 4,999 on the corporate website in the round and square shapes and only in the colour Black.
