INDIA: The Dangal and Chichhore-fame director Nitesh Tiwari is back with a bang as he brings a fresh new love story, Bawaal, starring Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan. The filmmaker has left netizens engrossed ever since the film teaser was released. The movie is bankrolled by producer Sajid Nadiadwala.

The teaser hints at the tragic love story of a small-town couple who got stuck in an ongoing war condition. The film will get a direct digital release on Amazon Prime Video on July 21, 2023. Prior to that, the movie will be released at a fan event in Dubai next week, on July 8, 2023.

Bawaal teaser out

The teaser of Bawaal opens with Janhvi walking in front of Varun in a gorgeous red dress. The duo gradually falls in love as they get to know each other. Varun’s character Ajay seems to be head over heels for Janhvi’s character Nisha. The simple small-town love story engages in thrilling moments of separation and drama.

Janhvi understands her partner’s bond as they come close to the verge of separation. “Maine apne rishte ko samajhne mein itna waqt lagadia, jab samjha to khone ka waqt aa chuka tha (I took so much time to understand our relationship that when I understood it, it was time to lose it),” she says in the teaser.

Reportedly, Paris, Berlin, Poland, Amsterdam, Krakow, and Warsaw, as well as Lucknow and two other Indian towns, served as the locations for the filming of Bawaal. There were more than 700 personnel on the film team, including German action directors and stunt performers.

In a media interaction, filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari stated that Bawaal, which was shot in three Indian locations and five European nations, had a gripping storyline, spectacular visuals, and incredible chemistry between the lead actors, Varun and Janhvi.

The filmmaker went on to say that he believes the worldwide debut on Prime Video will help bring Bawaal to viewers in India and beyond. He also mentioned that the team worked tirelessly to get the film to the public’s attention, and he is eager to hear their reactions.
