International Art Project ‘TELEPORTATION 1’ Opens Stargates for Interhuman Communications

POLAND: TELEPORTATION 1 Art Postcard Poland / 2022 concluded its inaugural show on August 7, 2022, at The Galeria DAP (Domu Artysty Plastyka) in Okręg Warszawski, Warsaw, Poland. The International Art project that started on July 6, 2022, witnessed overwhelming footfall. 

The show is the first of four exhibitions of the international project – TELEPORTATION 1 Art Postcard / Poland 2022. The curators of the project were artists Edyta Dzier od and Anna Kossakowska (International project Eviva l’Arte) and were carried out in cooperation with an Indian partner, Saurabh Kumar, an artist by himself and owner of the online Art House called Absolutearts.in.

DAP Gallery, Warsaw District of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers (OW ZPAP) is over 100 years old and has 20 districts all over Poland was one of the main organizers while Marcin Sutryk from Poland and Metamorphoses Gallery, Warshaw, Poland were the co-organizers of the event.

The gallery presented to the audience 183 extremely diverse artworks, 95 artists from: Poland, India, Taiwan, Austria, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and the USA who sent their original artworks by post to the organizer, in A4 format and on paper using any technique.

Moreover, the exhibition was enriched by the presence of a sculpture “Teleportation” by Urszula Święcicka from Poland, as well as selected envelopes in which the participants’ artworks were sent to the organizers. The artworks sent to TELEPORTATION 1 will remain in the collection of the project organizers. 

About Galeria DAP

The Galeria DAP (Domu Artysty Plastyka) was started for the benefit of the members of the District Association of Polish Artists. Situated on the lower level, the spacious gallery primarily exhibits contemporary artworks; abstract art and photography are some of the types of works exhibited here. The gallery also displays travelling exhibits by both well-known national and international artists.

Next in the four-exhibition series is the second art exhibition in Warsaw at the Metamorfozy Gallery, scheduled from October 4 to 10, 2022.
