INDIA: Xiaomi displayed its most recent flagship series, the Xiaomi 12S at an event in China. This time around, the Xiaomi 12S Ultra is the primary flagship product. Additionally, it is a legitimate replacement for the older Mi 11 Ultra smartphone.

The camera module on the back is designed to resemble a DSLR camera’s lens. The design honours Xiaomi’s partnership with German camera maker Leica.

The 12S series will still only be sold in the Chinese market, according to the company. We also received confirmation of this from the Xiaomi PR department. The original report came from Android Central.

This is remarkable as Xiaomi also live-streamed the event on its foreign YouTube channel. We only presently know that it is unlikely that the Xiaomi 12S Ultra will be sold in India and other countries.

It’s still possible that the Xiaomi 12S Ultra will be offered in additional areas, possibly with a different brand or model number. All of it is simply speculation at the moment, so we must wait for confirmation.
