INDIA: The much-anticipated Kajol Devgn starrer “Salaam Venky” got a release date. The actress announced the official date on her social media handle.
It’s been a long time since Kajol appeared on the big screen, but the wait is over as she is ready to make her appearance to her fans.
Both the powerhouses of talent, Kajol and Revathy, are ready to welcome their upcoming project on December 9th, 2022. The upcoming “Salaam Venky” is helmed by Suuraj Sinngh, Shraddha Agrawal, and Varsha Kukreja under the banner of BLive Productions and Rtake Studios.
The movie has already made buzz since its making as it’s based upon a real story of a mother who overcame many hurdles in her way but stood strong in every circumstance. Both the female actors will be seen portraying the role of a praiseworthy mother who faced all circumstances.
The Tanhaji actor took to her Twitter account and wrote, “And we have a date. Salaam Venky will be released at a theatre near you on September 12, 2022.”
However, the Dilwale actor commenced her shooting for the film way back in February 2022, and shared a photo with co-actor Revathy standing together holding the clapboard. She captioned it, “Today we begin the journey of a story that needed to be told, a path that had to be taken, and a life that had to be celebrated. We can’t wait to share this unbelievably true story of #SalaamVenky with you,”.
Simultaneously, on the work front, Kajol will next be seen in The Good Wife, an adaptation of the American legal and political drama television series of the same name.
The proud wife and mother are very engaging and entertaining through their interviews and public appearances. All Kajol fans are counting the days until they see her on the silver screen as back in the ’90s, the diva ruled the Bollywood industry by giving major box office hits.
