INDIA: Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer Adipurush is one of the highly awaited movies. Om Raut’s directorial movie has become the talk of the town since the release of the teaser. Now, on the auspicious day of Akshaya Tritiya, makers recently dropped a new lyrical motion poster of the film.
The makers posted the motion poster with the caption, “If you can’t visit the Char Dham, Just chant the name of Prabhu Shri Ram. Jai Shri Ram.”
The motion poster is released in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Tamil. Towards the end, the poster also gives a glimpse of Prabhas in Lord Ram’s warrior avatar. The divine visual representation of the video plays soothing background music combined with the lyrics “Jai Shri Ram”, which is worth giving goosebumps.
The motion poster features Prabhas, holding a bow and arrow as Shri Ram. The audio clip is created by the music composer duo Ajay-Atul, of Sairat fame.
The film stars Prabhas as Raghava, Kriti Sanon as Janaki, Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh, and Sunny Singh as Laxman. The movie also stars Vatsal Seth, Sonal Chauhan, and others in key roles.
The pan-India film is produced by T-Series, retrophiles, and UV Creations. The movie will hit the theatres on June 16, 2023.
Talking about the rescheduled release date of Adipurush, filmmaker Om Raut posted a statement. He said, “Adipurush is not a film, but a representation of our devotion to Prabhu Shri Ram and commitment towards our Sanskriti and history. In order to give a complete visual experience to the viewers, we need to give more time to the teams working on the film. The film carries forward the virtue of Prabhu Shri Ram that entails dharma, courage and sacrifice.”
