INDIA: The makers of the much-awaited social drama Aryabhatt Ka Zero have officially unveiled the film’s first-look poster and announced that the movie will hit cinemas worldwide on 7 August 2026.

Presented by Sunil Sihag Gora Films, Newtech Media Entertainment, Radhika G Films, and A2R Films, Aryabhatt Ka Zero promises to deliver a heartwarming and inspiring story centered on self-belief, resilience, and the strength of family relationships.

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Kamal Chandra and written by Tariq Mohammad, the film follows the life of Brahmgupta Shrivastava, affectionately known as Baggu, a 25-year-old young man from a middle-class family who struggles to find direction in life. Through a compelling blend of humour, satire, and emotion, the narrative traces Baggu’s transformation from being perceived as a “zero” to discovering his true worth and potential.

At its heart, the film embraces the philosophy of “Believe in You” while exploring the evolving and emotional relationship between a father and son. The story highlights how an ordinary family faces extraordinary challenges together, making it relatable to audiences across generations.

The film boasts a talented ensemble cast featuring Himansh Kohli, Sonnalli Seygall, Ravi Kishan, Darshana Banik, Neeraj Sood, Alka Amin, Rajesh Sharma, Gopal Dutt, and Shilpa Shinde.

Adding depth to the film’s emotional journey is its music, composed by Manan Bhardwaj. The soundtrack is backed by T-Series, which is expected to play a significant role in amplifying the film’s reach and appeal.

Aryabhatt Ka Zero is produced by Birender Bhagat, Ravi S. Gupta, Sanjay Nagpal, and Sheo Balak Singh. The film’s co-producers include Sunil Sihag, Triloki Nath Prasad, Late Kuldeep Bhandari, Aakansha Rahul Sharma, and Aniroodh Gadge.

Speaking about the project, producer Birender Bhagat said, “Aryabhatt Ka Zero is a story of hope and self-belief. We hope audiences see a part of themselves in Baggu’s journey and leave the theatres inspired to embrace their own potential.”

Presenter and co-producer Sunil Sihag also expressed confidence in the film’s promotional campaign. “With the strong musical support of T-Series at its core, we are confident of building meaningful buzz around the film. Our aim is to deliver a strong theatrical opening and ensure that this inspiring story reaches audiences across the country,” he said.

The film has already garnered appreciation during its exclusive screening at the Jagran Film Festival, where audiences praised its relatable storytelling, emotional authenticity, and uplifting message.

The worldwide theatrical release of Aryabhatt Ka Zero will be handled by VK Films, with Anoop Kumar serving as sub-distributor to facilitate a broad release across multiple territories.

With its powerful message, relatable characters, and emotional narrative, Aryabhatt Ka Zero aims to inspire audiences by reminding them that every individual possesses untapped potential waiting to be discovered.
