INDIA: The release date of Brahmastra is approaching, which adds to the fandom’s excitement. The studios recently published a new video that adds to the epic fantasy’s lore and mystique. In a newly released clip, Ayan Mukerji sheds light on the Astraverse’s intriguing and mystical arsenal, including the secret society of sages.
Ayan narrates the importance of each Astra, such as Vanarastra, Nandiastra, Prabhastra, Jalastra, Pawanastra, and Brahmastra. The renowned director also focuses on Brahmansh, a secret society of sages that aids in the advancement of human civilization.
The footage includes important graphics and concept arts that ensure Ayan’s vision of epic fantasy. The video’s most breathtaking shot depicts Brahmansh’s journey into modern times.
Brahmastra adds to the beginning of a new cinematic universe known as Astraverse
The plot of Brahmastra revolves around Shiva, a DJ who appears to be some kind of fire wielder, and sure, he’s fireproof. The narrative functions as a typical tale following the blossoming romance between him and Isha. However, Shiva’s ability to awaken Brahmastra, the universe’s most potent weapon, dubbed “sare astro ka devta,” launches his journey on an exceptional route that will sum up the supernatural fantasy genre. On the other hand, some sinister powers will embark on a mission to harness the power of Brahmastra, which will, of course, be the same for malicious purposes.
The film is the first instalment in a trilogy that chronicles Shiva’s journey across the Astraverse, a universe brimming with enigmatic weaponry. It will introduce Shiva as the forthcoming celestial superhero after uncovering every part of Brahmastra’s lore and legend.
The cast of Brahmastra incorporates a range of well-known Indian actors. Ranbir Kapoor plays the lead as Shiva, also called “Agni Astra”. As Isha, Alia Bhatt adds to the blossoming romance; who knows, she might even have some type of power. Amitabh Bachchan serves in the role of Guru Arvind, a mentor figure to Shiva who will help him reach his true potential. With his formidable character as Anish, Nagarjuna Akkineni fills the void. Finally, Mouni Roy joins as Junoon, the Queen of Darkness, to cover the chasm of looming enmity.
Brahmastra can be termed as the vision of Ayan Mukerji, who adds to the director’s chair. The story is, of course, pitched by him under the production banner of Dharma Productions. Made on a budget of ₹ 300 crores, the film took almost eight years to wrap up and is finally arriving on the big screen on September 9, 2022.
