The Airports Economic Regulatory Authority of India (Amendment) Bill, 2021, which seeks to encourage the development of smaller airports to ensure regional connectivity was passed by the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday. The bill was earlier passed by Lok Sabha on July 29.
