INDIA: Binny Bansal, the co-founder of e-commerce giant Flipkart, is making a comeback to India’s thriving e-commerce scene. Reports indicate that after divesting his remaining stake in Flipkart, Bansal is preparing to establish his own e-commerce startup.

Following his recent exit from Flipkart’s ownership, estimated to have brought him $1 to $1.5 billion, Bansal has the financial means to fuel his entrepreneurial aspirations.

In partnership with co-founder Sachin Bansal, Binny Bansal created one of India’s largest e-commerce platforms. Their journey began in 2007, culminating in Flipkart’s remarkable acquisition by Walmart for $16 billion in 2018.
