UNITED ARAB EMIRATES: Royal Challengers Bangalore defeats Rajasthan Royals by 7 wickets. Royal Challengers Bangalore won the toss and they decided to field first. Bangalore had one change in their team as Kyle Jamieson was replaced by the debutant George Garton. Rajasthan Royals also had one change in their team as Jaydev Unadkat was replaced by Kartik Tyagi.
Evin Lewis and Yashasvi Jaiswal opened the innings for Rajasthan Royals. Both of them were looking in great touch. Evin and Jaiswal were scoring runs at a pretty fast rate and after 6 overs Rajasthan Royals was 56/0. Royal Challengers Bangalore got their first breakthrough in the form of Yashasvi Jaiswal. Jaiswal scored 31 off 22 deliveries which included 3 fours and 2 sixes. After the fall of Jaiswal, the in-form Sanju Samson came out to bat. He tried to build a partnership with Evin Lewis but the debutant George Garton took the wicket of Lewis and after 11.1 overs Rajasthan was 100/2. After Virat Kohli got out, Glenn Maxwell and Srikar Bharat put on a 69 runs partnership to take the game away from Rajasthan Royals. Srikar Bharat got out after playing a brilliant knock of 44 off just 35 deliveries which included 3 fours and a six.
After Bharat got out, Bangalore was 127/2 after 16 overs. Bangalore needed 23 runs off 24 deliveries to win the game. When Chris Morris came out to bowl the 17th over, Glenn Maxwell destroyed Morris by hitting him for 22 runs in just 6 deliveries which included 3 fours and a six. After that Ab De Villiers scored a boundary at the very first ball of his innings to help Royal Challengers Bangalore defeat Rajasthan Royals by 7 wickets.
