INDIA: Tips Music (Tips Industries) has joined hands with Sony Music Publishing (SMP), the giant music company, and signed a global publishing agreement to promote and expand their songs on global platforms. The collaboration shows the growing demand for Indian music.
Tips Music and SMP want to boost the publishing and royalty earnings of the Bollywood music label; besides this, it will allow the artists to attain more fame and a more extensive global audience. The agreement covers the administration, synchronization, and catalogue promotion of Tips Music’s 3,500 music titles.
Making the agreement official, Kumar Taurani, Managing Director of Tips Industries Limited (Tips Music), announced, “We are thrilled to partner with Sony Music Publishing, one of the world’s most prestigious music publishing companies. This agreement is an excellent opportunity for us to expand our reach and showcase our music to a global audience. This partnership will increase our publishing and royalty collection and undoubtedly take Indian music to international shores, entertaining audiences around the globe.”

On the sideline, the shares of Tips Music jumped nearly 10 per cent after the company made the announcement.
