INDIA: This day marked the Birth anniversary of Indian PM Narendra Damodardas Modi, the people’s leader who turned 72. Political solid figures worldwide poured their wishes and blessings to him via various social media platforms.

Narendra Modi is considered among the most dynamic and powerful leaders in the world. His supervision and strong future prophecy made him serve as a Chief Minister of Gujarat for a term of four, continued by becoming the Prime Minister of India in 2014. His “daredevil” decision-making attitude makes him the leader of all time.

Narendra Modi, rising from a small middle-class family in Gujarat, joined the pro-Hindu “Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) organization” in his early years. He joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 1987. He became the general secretary of the Gujarat branch of the party within a year due to his constant devotion and dedication to social work.

During the initial years of his career, he faced various hurdles in his way, but he overcame everything with flying colours. Gradually, he became a prominent figure in Gujarat and was elected as Gujarat’s Chief Minister. During his 13 years of service as the Chief Minister of Gujarat, he never took a day off or called in sick.

However, Narendra Modi faced various allegations and controversies during his political career. One unforgettable event was in 2002 when he was held responsible for sparking violence in his state, popularly known as “Godhra Kand”. The heart-wrenching incident broke out in Godhra, Gujarat, where more than 1,000 Hindu people were set ablaze in a train.

The after-effect of the incident was more horrific, where Hindus forcibly took revenge and Muslim mass-killing occurred. The entire incident happened during the serving tenure of Narendra Modi but after a long-standing probe, he got a clean chit in the case.

Narendra Modi acquired the post of Prime Minister and created a benchmark for building healthy relationships with foreign countries. During his rule, India became the strongest economy, and the rate of imports and export touched sky heights.

He showed an intolerable attitude towards terrorism by enforcing IAF strikes at terror groups like Jaish-e- Mohammad. His famous lines are, “Yeh hamara siddhant hai ki hum ghar mai ghus kar marenge…Main Lamba intezaar nahin kar sakta” (Our policy is to hit enemies inside their territory….. I don’t like to wait for long).

The Prime Minister promotes healthy living. He is a vegetarian and believes in living a spiritual life. Modi, therefore, practices yoga and encourages everyone to add it to their regular life. During his rule, various countries joined hands with India regarding business. The “never settle” frame of mind makes Modi so famous and inspiring.

He is truly a youth icon; how he connects with the future generation is unique and praiseworthy. The dynamite of politics has seen many ups and downs in his life, but the only constant in his life is, change. His vision and mission toward upscaling India make him a prominent figure.
