INDIA: The Vivo Y22 smartphone has been covertly introduced in India. The new Vivo Y22 has taken the position of the Vivo Y21, which was made available in the country last year.

The Vivo Y22 comes with significant upgrades in terms of design and performance. Here’s everything you need to know about the new Vivo Y22 smartphone.

Vivo Y22 Features

The 6.55-inch HD+ waterdrop notch display on the Vivo Y22 has a 60Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 530 nits. It has a MediaTek Helio G70 CPU running the show, along with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. MicroSD cards can be used to increase storage even more.

Vivo Y22’s camera system includes a dual-rear camera configuration with a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary lens. For video calls and taking selfies, the device boasts an 8MP front-facing camera.

The phone’s camera arrangement includes a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture lens, as well as a dual camera setup on the back. A 2MP bokeh sensor with an f/2.4 aperture lens is also included with the Vivo Y22.

For selfies, there is an 8MP front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture lens. The phone has dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, GPS, FM radio, and OTG support among its connectivity features.

Vivo Y22 Pricing and More

All physical and online retailers have the Vivo Y22 for sale. Vivo is launching the smartphone with two RAM and storage configurations: 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB, at prices of Rs 14,499 and Rs 16,499. The Vivo Y22 is available in two colours: Starlight Blue and Metaverse Green.
