INDIA: The 10th match of IPL 2023 season witnessed a gripping face off between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Ekana Sports City Ardonamau, Uttar Pradesh. The match favoured Lucknow, resulting in LSG’s comfortable victory with 6 wickets and 24 balls to spare.

LSG Vs SRH

Earlier, SRH won the toss and elected to field first. SRH got off to a decent start in the power play, scoring 43 runs but losing one wicket. However, in the seventh over, Krunal Pandya took two quick wickets, slowing SRH’s momentum.

SRH continued to lose wickets as Aiden Markram was out for a duck, and Harry Brook was struck by another leg spinner, Ravi Bishnoi. At the end of the 10th over, SRH were at 63/4.

Rahul Tripathi and Washington Sundar tried to build a partnership for SRH but were slow in scoring runs. Tripathi scored 34 runs, but it took him 41 balls. Abdul Samad scored two sixes in the final over off Jaydev Unadkat to give SRH a decent finish.

He finished with 21, not out off 10 balls, as the Sunrisers ended with 121 for 8. Krunal Pandya and Amit Mishra of LSG took two wickets each to restrict SRH’s score. Though the wicket was slow, it was not a total that could be defended.

In contrast to SRH, LSG got off to a quick start, scoring 24 runs in just two overs. Though Fazal Farooqui removed Kyle Mayers in the 5th over, LSG kept scoring at a good pace.

They got another wicket in the next over, but the score was already 45. KL Rahul and Krunal Pandya looked in a hurry and scored runs quickly. They completed 100 runs in just 12.2 overs.

SRH managed to remove Pandya and Rahul, but the score was too low for a comeback. Ultimately, LSG won the match by 6 wickets and 24 balls to spare. KL Rahul scored 35 runs, and Krunal Pandya scored 34 runs. Nicholas Pooran finished the job for LSG with a six.
