IPL Auction 2022: Final Squad List of All the Teams

INDIA: IPL 2022 auction ended after two days in which ten IPL teams participated. In this edition, Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans are the two new entrants. A total of 590 players had registered their names for IPL 2022 Auction. Out of which 204 players were sold. The ten teams that are going to participate in this years IPL spent over 550 crores to purchase the players to build their teams.

Ishan Kishan became this year’s most expensive buy. Kishan was sold for a whopping 15.25cr to Mumbai Indians. He became the 4th most expensive IPL player of all time.

Below is the list of the squad of all the 10 IPL teams of 2022:-

(1) Mumbai Indians

The five time IPL champions Mumbai Indians purchased a total of 21 players in the auction. Before the auctions Mumbai Indians retained 4 players, their captain Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav, and Kieron Pollard.

The four time IPL winners and the defending champions, Chennai Super Kings purchased a total of 21 players in the auction. Before the auction Chennai Super Kings retained 4 players, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Moeen Ali, Ravindra Jadeja and Ruturaj Gaikwad.
