These batteries consist of aluminium, making them rugged enough to weather any conditions they may face.

The battery has a pressure valve to disseminate pressure from building up in the batteries, an active balancing Battery Management System (BMS), and an inbuilt audio-video system to monitor battery behaviour.

The battery also includes Ipower’s smart BMS, which provides active balancing in the battery packs, improving performance and extending battery life.

The battery’s unique passive thermal management system ensures optimal performance in the Indian climate.

The Rugpro series has the opportunity to revolutionise the Indian EV market with its superior performance, high energy density, high thermal stability, and long cycle life.

Ipower Batteries will deliver the first batch of 5,000 battery packs by May 2023.

Three decades of R&D and experience from its parent company complements Ipower, which allows it to work on innovative product lines for the market.

The company’s manufacturing is ISO 9001-2015, 14001:2015, and 45001:2018 certified, ensuring the production of high-quality Lithium-Ion batteries.

The Indian EV industry is growing exponentially, and the demand for batteries is increasing.

Ipower Batteries’ Rugpro series, with its superior performance and long cycle life, is expected to revolutionise the Indian EV market and meet the growing demand for batteries.
