UNITED STATES: Kanye West will keep an eye on Davidson. On Wednesday night, the Yeezy fashion designer not only followed Pete Davidson’s new Instagram account but also posted a screenshot of the “Saturday Night Live” comic’s account with the word “FOLLOWED.” West, however, quickly removed the screenshot, as he does with the majority of his postings.
Davidson, predictably, did not return the singer’s follow, instead opting to follow only his girlfriend, Kim Kardashian, and actor Sebastian Stan.
The 28-year-old “King of Staten Island” actor chose an unusual time to return to social media, as the 44-year-old “Flashing Lights” rapper has been threatening and criticizing him on the platform because of his relationship with the 41-year-old Skims founder. Davidson hasn’t been active on Instagram since leaving in the summer of 2018 due to mental health issues.
Earlier this week, West shared screenshots of text messages in which his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian, informed him that he was creating a “dangerous and scary environment” for Davidson. “Someone will hurt Pete, and it will be entirely your fault,” Kardashian wrote, while West told his followers, “Upon my wife’s request, please do not do anything physical to Skete.” “I’ll handle the situation on my own.” Kanye, who referred to Pete as “Skete” in his barrage of posts on the social media app, called the ‘King of Staten Island’ star a “d***,” according to Page Six.
Surprisingly, after being attacked by the fans on social media, West deleted all of his previous posts before creating a new one that read: “I know sharing screenshots was jarring and came across as harassing Kim.” I accept responsibility. “I’m still learning on the job.”
