INDIA: Veteran actor Mithilesh Chaturvedi breathed his last at Lucknow on August 3. The multi-talented actor collapsed due to a cardiac ailment. He was battling heart problems for a very long time, unable to recover completely, which caused his death. 

His sudden demise is confirmed by his son-in-law Ashish Chaturvedi, he took to his social media account to confirm the news by writing: “Aap Duniya ke sabse ache pita the, aapne mujhe dhamaad nhi balki ek bete ki tara prem diya. Bhagwan aapki aatma ko shanti Pradan kare (You were the best father in the world, you gave me love like your own son.”

This disheartening news is truly non-consumable for Chaturvedi fans. Many fans extended their heartfelt condolences through social media. 

Filmmaker Hansal Mehta took to his Instagram to share the tragic news. He posted a photo of the late actor and wrote. “RIP Mithileshji.” The gem of a person had essayed many roles in movies like ‘Koi Mil Gaya’, ‘Gadar’, ‘Bunty Aur Babli’.

Over decades, Chaturvedi’s contribution to the entertainment field made his appearance comical, and his screen presence attracted many cinephiles. He gave Bollywood many big hits, not in the pivotal roles but the supporting roles. 

The Gadar actor has worked in many TV shows, including ads. He also played the role of Ram Jethmalani in the web show ‘Scam 1992’, which gathered a lot of appreciation.

His last film is Gulabo-Sitabo opposite Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana, which made its release on the OTT platform. He played a crucial role in the TV show ‘Patiala Babes’. According to reports, the actor will also be seen in an upcoming web show, ‘Talli Joddi’.
