Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway: Rani Mukherji’s Film Receives Its First Look

INDIA: The Bollywood Queen of the 90s, Rani Mukherji, who never fails to spread her charm on screen, is all set to come up with her new film, Mrs. Chatterjee Vs. Norway.

Ashima Chibber is directing the film, which is inspired by true events that show an incredible story of human resilience. The eagerly anticipated film will be released on March 3, 2023.

Post the release of Bunty Aur Babli 2, Rani Mukherji was not seen doing any films, but there were speculations that she would pick an interesting project, and finally the wait is over. The actor recently completed 25 years in the glamour industry. 

The photo showed Rani Mukherji donning a pink saree in a traditional Bengali look while wearing the typical red and white auspicious bangles. She can be seen holding a teddy bear with an intense look that gives a strong hint of the movie’s intensity. 

The caption wrote, “Inspired by the true story of a mother who shook an entire nation with her courage and willpower to win back her children (sic).”

The movie revolves around the life of an immigrant Indian mother’s battle against the Norwegian foster care system and local legal machinery to get back the custody of her children. 

Talking about the movie Rani Mukherji, in the recent past, said, “These are stories that need to be told. I’m hoping that the story of this film will resonate with every Indian the way it did for me and my team. It’s an incredible story of human resilience that will appeal to audiences across the country and every age group. These films not only entertain audiences but also deliver a great message. I want to do movies that are about hope and love.”
