INDIA: The Mumbai Indians defeated the Sunrisers Hyderabad in a thrilling match that went down to the wire.

Aiden Markram won the toss for Sunrisers Hyderabad and elected to bowl first, hoping to use the dew factor to aid their run chase.

Mumbai Indians got off to a flying start, with Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan hitting the ball well.

However, the Sunrisers managed to slow down the run rate by using spinners Mayank Markande and Washington Sundar in the middle overs.

The Mumbai Indians scored 192 runs in their 20 overs, with Cameron Green making a valuable contribution of 64 runs.

The Sunrisers Hyderabad made a disastrous start to their chase, losing their top-order batters early.

However, Mayank Agarwal held the innings together, and South African all-rounder Heinrich Klaasen ably supported him.

After Klaasen’s dismissal, the match seemed to be slipping away from the Sunrisers, but the lower-order batters fought back and gave the team hope.

The Sunrisers eventually fell short of the target by 14 runs, giving the Mumbai Indians their third successive win.

The Mumbai Indians had the upper hand for most of the match, but the Sunrisers fought back bravely.

The Mumbai Indians will be pleased with their performance, primarily how their middle-order batters batted.

The Sunrisers will be disappointed with their start, which put them under pressure from the outset.

Cameron Green was named the Player of the Match for his unbeaten knock of 64 runs.

He played a vital role in ensuring that the Mumbai Indians set a challenging target for the Sunrisers. Green received support from Tilak Verma, who scored a quickfire 37 runs.

Arjun Tendulkar was responsible for bowling the final over, defending 20 runs.

Tendulkar held his nerve, conceded only five runs, and also picked up Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s wicket on the match’s final ball.

The Mumbai Indians will take on Punjab Kings in their next match, while the Sunrisers Hyderabad will face Chennai Super Kings. Both teams will be looking to build on their performances and climb up the table.
