INDIA: On Wednesday, leading global smartphone manufacturer, OPPO unveiled its newest Reno Series in India, including the Reno8 Pro 5G and Reno8 5G, both of which feature a streamlined unibody design and an end-to-end imaging solution. The MariSilicon X, the company’s exclusive image NPU, supports the OPPO Reno8 Pro 5G.

With 3.5 billion transistors and a processing speed of 18 trillion operations per second, the NPU was self-developed. Even in the most challenging circumstances, this processing power produces a sharp and clear 4K Ultra Night Video.

According to the manufacturer, the phone also includes a 50MP RGBW Sony IMX766 back camera and a selfie sensor called the RGBW Sony IMX709.
A 112-degree, 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro camera are part of the rear arrangement.

“With our independently created MariSilicon X Neural Processing Unit, we have established imaging benchmarks with the Reno8 Pro and the Reno8 (NPU). With the promise of continued peak performance over a more extended period, our SUPERVOOCTM and BHE technologies provide faster battery charging and safer use,” said Damyant Singh Khanoria, OPPO India’s chief marketing officer.

The Reno8 Pro has a sleek unibody design with a Gorilla Glass 5 back and an aluminium frame for increased durability. It will be available in Glazed Green and Glazed Black. The phone has a 4500mAh battery with OPPO’s 80W SUPERVOOCTM Flash Charge and a MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX SoC.

After 1,600 charge cycles, the batteries still have 80% of their initial capacity, thanks to the Battery Health Engine (BHE) technology (double the industry standard of 800 charges). As a result, the smartphone has more than four years of lifespan. Additionally, for a performance boost, OPPO’s Ultra-Conductive Graphite Cooling System enhances cooling by 45% compared to conventional graphite.

The IMX709 and IMX766 dual Sony camera sensors are also in the OPPO Reno8 5G. Many AI-enhanced image functions, including Ultra Night Video, Night Portrait, and Bokeh Flare video, are also available. The MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC, OPPO’s Super-Conductive VC Liquid Cooling System, and ColorOS 12.1 power this device, which was created to provide consumers with an all-around performance.

The Reno8 5G features a streamlined unibody design and comes in two colours: Shimmer Gold and Shimmer Black, just like the Reno8 Pro 5G.
Additionally, this device has an 80W SUPERVOOCTM battery that can run for up to 1.5 days on a single charge. According to the manufacturer, both devices have the TUV SUD certification for fluency attenuation after 36 months of use.

OPPO also introduced the OPPO Pad Air, which retails for Rs 16,999 for the 4 GB 64 GB edition and Rs 19,999 for the 4 GB +128 GB version, in addition to the Reno8 series. The power-efficient “6nm” octa-core Snapdragon 680 processor, along with AI System Booster 2.1 and RAM Expansion technology for seamless multitasking, are exclusive to this device in the sector.
With an Agile Floating screen design and OPPO Glow, which also offers a fingerprint-free, all-metal scratch-free cover for the device, it is one of the slimmest tablets in the class at 6.94mm thick.

Running on the tablet is ColorOS 12 for Pad. It includes several new features for an intuitive reading experience, including multi-device connectivity, two-finger split-screen, dual, and four-finger floating windows. Customers can also purchase an OPPO Smart Stylus Pen. For those who enjoy music, OPPO also unveiled the Enco X2 for Rs 10,999. The Dolby Audio Binaural Recording and industry-leading ANC make the Enco X2 the top-tier TWS earbuds.

Additionally, it features the most recent Super Dynamic Balance Enhanced Engine (SuperDBEE) acoustic technology, which was created in collaboration with the Nordic audio powerhouse Dynaudio and let users take their favourite music with them wherever they go. The Enco X2 supports active Noise Cancellation at the segment’s best 45dB depth and 4000Hz breadth.
