INDIA: Pakistani politician and artist Abrar Ul Haq has accused Karan Johar of stealing his song “Nach Punjaban” and using it for his next home-production ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo.’ 

The song in question is featured in the teaser for the film, which was published on Sunday. He stated that his song “Nach Punjaban” had not been sold to any Indian movie in a tweet.

“Song “Nach Punjaban” has not been licensed to any one. If someone is claiming it , then produce the agreement. I will be taking legal action,” he added in a subsequent tweet.

Neetu Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Kiara Advani star in ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo.’ According to the teaser, the film deals with the difficulties of relationships while still providing plenty of laughs.

The trailer starts with Kiara Advani and Varun Dhawan enjoying their wedding. Still, things take an unexpected turn as they decide to divorce while keeping their decision hidden from their families.

‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo,’ directed by Raj Mehta and produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, and Apoorva Mehta, is a comedy-drama.

Indian television presenter and anchor Manish Paul and YouTuber Prajakta Koli will also appear in the film. The film will be released on June 24.
