INDIA. Gujarat: The second phase of Gujarat Assembly elections for 93 seats of 14 districts across North and Central Gujarat began on Monday as per schedule at 8 am.

Meanwhile, PM Modi reached his hometown Gandhinagar to seek blessings from his mother, Heeraben.
Ahead of every crucial election, PM Modi makes sure to visit his mother’s place and spend some quality time with her. Heeraben Modi resides in Gandhinagar, where Modi has served as a CM for three consecutive times.
PM Modi was seen sharing a cup of tea with his mother. The picture is now viral, and the bond between the mother-son duo is heartwarming.
Netizens noticed a hand portrait hung on the wall where mother Heeraben is seen feeding his son with her hand, alongside a portrait inside the frame which shows Modi taking an oath as a PM.
Narendra Modi was Gujarat’s longest-serving chief minister who served from 2001 to 2014. The party has been in power for the last 27 years, and this year AAP is trying its luck in the current election.
The final phase of voting for the Gujarat polls will decide the fate of the reigning Bharatiya Janata Party. Recently, PM Modi held the longest rally in Gujarat, which no Indian leader had ever done before.
