INDIA: The unnamed movie featuring the leading actors of Bollywood, Shahid Kapoor and Kirti Sanon, has been a talk of B-town since the announcement. The untitle film of Shaid and Kriti, is made under the banner of Maddock Films and earlier, it was scheduled to hit theatres in October but was postponed due to unknown reasons.
Now, finally, Maddock Films took to social media and made a big announcement of the release date and confirmed that it would be released by the end of the year. The movie will show Kirti and Shahid romancing in a new-age story. The Shahid and Kriti starrer featurette will hit theatres on December 7, 2023.
Maddock Films wrote, “Mark your calendars for this impossible love story that unfolds on 7th December 2023! Brought to you by Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan starring Shahid Kapoor & Kriti Sanon together for the first time! Written & Directed by: Amit Joshi & Aradhana Shah. Produced by: Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande & Laxman Utekar. A Maddock Films production Stay tuned.”
The veteran actors Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia will join the ensemble cast, among others. It is jointly produced by Dinesh Vijan. Jyoti Deshpande and Laxman Utekar under the direction of Amit Joshi and Aradhana Shah
The film’s poster was released in April this year with the tagline “An impossible love story,” which showcases the Kabir Singh actor and Mimi actress romancing on a bike on a beach. The mood of the poster is very romantic, as it shows the sunset behind the two actors.
Ever since the poster was released, netizens have been jumping with excitement as the pair of Shahid and Kirti have the potential to attract the audience to big screens. However, the title is yet to be revealed, and more updates about the film are still awaited.
