INDIA: Mahesh Babu and Pooja Hegde starrer SSMB28 have received a release date. The most-awaited film is set to arrive on big screens on April 28, 2023. Haarika and Hassine Creations released the official footage on their Twitter handle, revealing the upcoming film update.
SSMB28 bags an official release date
Haarika and Hassine Creations’ Twitter accounts tweeted the video. The tweet read, “The Reigning Superstar will arrive on 28th April 2023! Get ready to witness @urstrulymahesh garu in a scintillating Massy look & high octane entertainer ~ #SSMB28 #Trivikram @hegdepooja @MusicThaman @vamsi84 #SSMB28From28April.”
The production company’s official clip confirmed the release date in a creative manner. The video caption also described the film as a high-octane entertainer, which provides additional excitement.
Mahesh Babu stars in the lead, while Pooja Hegde joins the film’s ensemble cast in a prominent role. National-Award winner Navin Nooli will edit the movie, and AS Prakash will serve as art director. National awardee music director Thaman will provide the music for the upcoming feature. P. S. Vinod will also join the team as a cinematographer.
Trivikram Srinivas will add his directorial vision to SSMB28. The director previously helmed the highly successful Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo starring Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde, confirming his grasp on the mass entertainer film.
The teamwork between Mahesh Babu and Trivikram Srinivas in the upcoming movie is not new. Earlier, the actor and the director partnered on the films Athadu (2005) and Khaleja (2010). Athadu, which continues to be a fan favourite, was a commercially successful movie. Khaleja also proceeds to have a massive following.
Trivikram Srinivas is well known for his intense focus on action movies, so SSMB28 is anticipated to be an action-packed movie. Given the projected release date, the movie’s production got underway this month.
