UNITED STATES: Disney unveiled a brand-new poster of the upcoming Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi. The series lands as the latest title covering the Prequel Trilogy characters from the Star Wars universe. Since the announcement of the animated series in April 2022 and the trailer release, fans have been waiting for its arrival.

Tales of Jedi will arrive on Disney+ on October 26, 2022, which is only a few weeks away. Besides the release date, the makers also shared a key visual featuring all the iconic characters from the series. The poster’s main focus lands on Asoka Tano and Young Count Dooku. Anakin Skywalker is illustrated on the left side, and Mace Windu steals the light with his purple lightsaber.

If we look closer, we also get a glimpse of baby Ahsoka Tano with her mother. On the extreme bottom, Yoda is also featured wielding a lightsaber. The poster also pictured Young Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and many more characters from the Prequel Trilogy.

Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi will cover six short episodes following the story of Jedi from the Prequel Trilogy. The first episode will showcase the origin story of Ashoka Tano. Origin of Count Dooku will also be explored in the upcoming episodes, showcasing the character’s early days as a Jedi. The show will also depict how Dooku joins the dark side of the Force.

Besides the upcoming animated series, Tales of Jedi is also a popular comic book among Star Wars fans, published under the banner of Dark Horse Comics. 8 story arcs are covered in comics set in the Old Republic era. Given the show’s storyline, it appears the series will follow a different route than the comics.
