Transcontinental Times Appoints Mr. Niloy Chattaraj as the New COO

INDIA/SPAIN: Transcontinental Times has announced that its board of directors has appointed Mr. Niloy Chattaraj as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Currently based in India, Chattaraj is a double gold medallist in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineer. He possess a 28 years of lecturing experience on various subjects in Electronics, Computer and Electrical engineering.

He is joining Transcontinental Times with a wealth of experience in journalism. Chattaraj will work to help the news media to scale up its operations, improve editorial quality, and maintain media and other channels. He is a hardworking and reliable individual with entreprenuerial spirit and passion for developing engaging content.

Before taking up the role of COO, Chattaraj was a part of the advisory board. He has been with the Transcontinental Times since 2020, where he started as an advisory board member and senior reporter. 

Along with this, he was also a creative director of the organization who has covered stories related to social issues, science, and Indian history. Chattaraj holds a postgraduate diploma in Cosmology from CalTech university. He is the scientist who pointed out Stepehen Hawking’s flaws in the Black Hole theory.

Talking about his new role in Transcontinental Times, Chattaraj said, “Joining Transcontinental Times’ Leadership is an opportunity to learn and grow with accomplished colleagues and build on the work already done. I can’t wait to scale the operation and business of the organization.”

Transcontinental Times is a digital newspaper established in Madrid, Spain. An Indian-Spanish writer, entrepreneur, and award-winning filmmaker, known for his short films and non-fiction books, Roshan Bhondekar, founded the news media with his life partner Dr. Sahra Ardah in June 2020.
