INDIA: Uunchai, Sooraj Barjatya’s forthcoming film, releases a brand-new poster featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, and Boman Irani. The makers shared the breathtaking first look on their social media accounts.
The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, and Boman Irani in lead roles. Parineeti Chopra, Danny Denzongpa, Neena Gupta, and Sarika round up the ensemble cast in prominent roles.
Sooraj Barjatya added his directorial vision while also penning the film’s story. Rajshree Productions will produce the family-entertainer movie along with Boundless Media and Mahaveer Jain Films.
Amitabh Bachchan And Rajshree Productions Released the First Look
The official Instagram handle of Rajshree Productions published the poster. The caption read, “This friendship day, we bring you the first look of Uunchai! A film about an ode to friendship, like never before! Experience the magic of Uunchai at a theatre near you on 11.11.22.”
Amitabh Bachchan also revealed the first look on his social media handle. Big B captioned the photo tagging his co-stars Anupam Kher and Boman Irani. The veteran added, “Celebrate #FriendshipDay with the first visual of our upcoming #Rajshri film #Uunchai. Join me, @anupampkher Kher, and @boman_irani on a journey that celebrates friendship. A film by @rajshrifilms and #SoorajBarjatya, @uunchaithemovie, will be in a theatre near you on 11.11.22.”
The poster depicts the talented Bollywood trio climbing the snowy mountain ranges. The tag line of the key visual reads, “Friendship was their only motivation”. The new look hints that the film will be a family entertainer, much like every major Sooraj Barjatya feature, which will mainly follow the theme of friendship.
Uunchai marks the comeback of Suraj Barjatya after 7 years. The filmmaker last directed Salman Khan starrer Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, released in 2015. The film is slated to be the return of the Bollywood director to kick-start the family entertainer era. The feature lands as the 60th film production under the Rajshree banner. The production company also celebrates its 75th anniversary this year.
