According to ACB chief Madhur Verma’s statement, the complainant approached the ACB on Monday with the complaint that he had worked for the AAP since 2014 and that on November 9, he had met AAP MLA Tripathi to ask for a seat for his wife in Kamla Nagar’s ward 69.

According to the complainant, the MLA requested a bribe of Rs 90 lakh for the situation. The complaint is made with proof of audio and video recordings. This occurred when AAP released the list of candidates on November 12, and Shobha’s name wasn’t mentioned there.
