INDIA: Bollywood multi-starrer movie Uunchai marks director Sooraj Barjatya’s comeback into the industry after seven long years. Many big veteran stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, and Anupam Kher are a part of this movie and are currently busy promoting the movie.

Recently, the trailer of Uunchai was unveiled, and the film is slated to be released next month. The big-budget film is shot in different locations in Nepal, Delhi, Mumbai, Agra, Lucknow, and Kanpur.

The lighthearted comic drama Uunchai will get its theatrical release on 11 November 2022. Meanwhile, during the trailer launch, Amitabh Bachchan revealed what made him sign the movie. During the quiz round, Big B was asked about his choice for the movie, to which he says, “Yes, Ek baar bete ne bol diya toh uski baat maan li humne” (Once my son said it, I just agreed to do it). The spectacular storyline encasing the perfect blend of comedy made it an exceptionally rare film for viewers.

Uunchai is an upcoming folk tale of 3 friends who take a trek to the Mount Everest Base Camp. However, the simple trekking turns out to be exciting and emotional. The movie is a classic tale made under the banner of Rajshri Productions.

The lead character of the movie, Amitabh Bachchan, is living the best year of his life as he entered his 80s and has signed multiple films for this year. His last release was Brahmastra Part-1: Shiva, which was a box-office hit.

Apart from Brahmastra, his family drama film Goodbye recently released in theatres. The movie also stars Rashmika Mandanna in the lead which garnered decent reviews from critics. On a big scale, Big B is soon to appear in a Telugu film Project K, opposite Deepika Padukone and Prabhas. The film is directed by Nag Ashwin.
