As part of the celebration to commemorate the 75th year of Independence, the Headquarters Maharashtra Naval Area organized a ‘Freedom Cyclothon’ on Saturday in Mumbai.
Despite a shadow of COVID-19 still looming large, with a host of programs being organized by the government and voluntary organizations, a yearlong 75 th Independence Day celebrations are expected to be a cheerful mega affair, reviving memories of freedom struggle.
As part of the ongoing celebrations to commemorate seventy-five years of independence,(Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav) the families of gallantry award winners, were felicitated at a function organized at Naval establishment INS Angre located in South Mumbai on Friday.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh virtually launched, a series of major events, organized by the Armed Forces and various other organizations of Ministry of Defence, to mark the 75th anniversary of India’s Independence, being celebrated as ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ on Friday.
