INDIA: Cultus Education and Technology Services (CETS) and the Navin Jindal Foundation have formalized a partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to introduce the AWS re/Start program at the Navin Avsar – Centre for Multiskilling & Opportunities in New Delhi. The program seeks to provide young people in India with training in cloud computing, career coaching, and connections to employment opportunities in the technology sector.
The AWS re/Start program is a full-time, classroom-based initiative designed to prepare participants for entry-level roles in cloud computing. It offers technical training, professional skills development, and access to a network of potential employers. The collaboration between Cultus and the Navin Jindal Foundation focuses on addressing the demand for skilled professionals in India’s growing digital economy, particularly for individuals from underserved communities.

Gaurav Arora, Country Head and Co-Founder of Cultus Education and Technology Services, emphasized the program’s broader goals. “This collaboration is about more than technical skills. It’s about enabling young people to build careers and contribute to India’s digital transformation,” he said. The Navin Jindal Foundation echoed this sentiment, noting that the initiative aligns with its mission to foster socio-economic development through education and skill-building.
The partnership aims to bridge the gap between education and employment by offering a structured pathway for participants to gain industry-relevant skills. The AWS re/Start curriculum covers foundational cloud computing concepts, including infrastructure, security, and database management, alongside soft skills like resume writing and interview preparation. Graduates of the program receive support in connecting with employers seeking cloud talent, though job placement is not guaranteed.
This initiative comes at a time when India’s technology sector is expanding rapidly, with cloud computing becoming a critical component of business operations across industries. According to industry reports, the demand for cloud professionals in India is expected to grow significantly over the next decade, creating opportunities for skilled workers. However, access to quality training and job opportunities remains a challenge for many, particularly in rural and economically disadvantaged areas.
