INDIA: The film, which is based on the popular videogame Injustice: Gods Among Us, has generated a lot of buzzes since its first look and cast details were released. However, the movie’s footage has already been leaked online.
The clip appears to be from the Injustice bonus that was added as an extra featurette alongside the release of Batman: The Long Halloween, Part Two. The video has interviews with the film’s voice performers, including Kevin Pollak, who plays the Joker, and Justin Hartley, who plays Superman, as well as screenwriters and producers.
The Injustice film’s plot takes place in an alternate Earth where the Joker initiates the cycle of chaos on Superman to kill Lois Lane and caused his death to spread over him. The Justice League is split in half, with those who believe in Superman forming one Earth regime and the other half, led by Batman, forming a rebellious insurgency to resist the regime. This insane Superman plans to take over the planet, causing Batman and his allies to try to stop him.
In Injustice: Gods Among Us prominent figures such as Justin Hartley, Anson Mount, Laura Bailey, have been chosen for the voice of Superman, Batman, Louis Lane, and goddess Rama Kushna. Zach Callison provides the voices of Damian and Jimmy Olsen, while Brian T. Johnson provides the voice of Green Lantern, and Cyborg is voiced by Brandon Michael Hall. Edwin Hodge as Mr. Terrific and Killer Croc, and Oliver Hudson as the voice of Plastic Man. Gillian Jacobs is the voice of Harley Quinn, while Mirror Master, Flash, and Shazam are voiced by Yuri Lowenthal.
Derek Phillips provides the voices of Nightwing and Aquaman. Kevin Pollak is the voice of Jonathan Kent and the Joker. Catwoman is voiced by Anika Noni Rose, Green Arrow, and Victor Zsasz is voiced by Reid Scott. Faran Tahir as the voice of Ra’s al Ghul, Fred Tatasciore as Captain Atom while Wonder Woman is voiced by Janet Varney
Although no official release date has been determined, Injustice: Gods Among Us is expected to hit theatres by the end of the year.
