INDIA: People all over the world are familiar with tasty fruit, Orange. Orange is a delicious fruit but they are not aware of its amazing health benefits. Consumption of oranges was advised during COVID-19 times also because of its immunity enhancement properties. It is not only an incredibly refreshing morning and daytime snack but also a great nutritional source, and a major recipe ingredient in various dishes.

It is a tempting orange-colored fruit and has a sour and sweet taste and also a pleasant aroma.  Widely available all over in various sizes, shapes, and varieties, they are high in water content.

The fruit has smoothly textured skin and it can be sweet and bitter. Its juice is amazingly sweet and tangy at the same time and makes an excellent and healthy breakfast beverage. Everything, its flesh, skin, and seeds, are usable and have health benefits. The skin and seeds are usually dried and ground into a paste to make a facemask. This free beauty treatment is practiced in India and also in other parts of the world for ages.

Oranges are an excellent source of vitamin C. One orange provides more than 100 percent of the daily needs of a human body of vitamin C. Vitamin C is helpful in reducing the risk of colon cancer, risk of chronic disease, risk of heart disease, helps manage high blood pressure, reduces blood uric acid levels to help prevent gout attacks, helps prevent iron deficiency, and many other benefits.
