KL Rahul and Shubman Gill are at the crease as India is trailing by 208 runs. Earlier, India bowled out Bangladesh for 227 runs thanks to four-wicket hauls from Umesh Yadav and Ravichandran Ashwin.

Mominul Haque of Bangladesh played an outstanding 84-run innings before being bowled out by Ashwin. Jaydev Unadkat also took two wickets for India.

Just before the end of the day, KL Rahul exhales with relief after reversing the LBW appeal against him.

He was stuck on the pads as a result of Shakib Al Hasan’s delivery, and the on-field umpire signalled out. However, the DRS review results in the decision being reversed.

Bangladesh might have won the day if certain poor stroke decisions, particularly those of Shakib and Litton, had not been made by the team.

Given that Rahul and Gill are still active and that their team has now taken 10 wickets, it is obvious that the day now belongs to the visitors.

It must be acknowledged that Bangladesh bowled well today, but despite many close calls and a wasted DRS, they could not capture the momentum.

India will be hoping that at least two of their top five players can make significant contributions, while Bangladesh aims for some early wickets tomorrow.
