In an assembly speech on Friday, Kejriwal said, “It is being said they (BJP) broke away several MLAs. I received phone calls; people asked me if everything was alright. I want to bring a confidence motion in the house to show people that not even one went away, that the BJP’s Operation Lotus became ‘Operation Keechad’ here.”

PDT Achary, a former secretary general of the Lok Sabha, stated in response to the “no conference motion” that “the government can bring a confidence motion in the House at any time.” A no-confidence motion is typically introduced when the majority of the ruling party in the house is in question.

The AAP will easily secure its majority because it has 62 of the house’s total 70 members. According to a bulletin of business issued by the Vidhan Sabha, the Delhi chief will be, “Taking the sense of the House, it was decided to extend the sitting of the House and take up the motion on Monday, 29th August 2022.”

The transport minister Kailash Gahlot said, “with deep concern the activities of some forces which are bent upon to create an environment which is not conducive to the ongoing good development works.” This whole action came into place amid all the raids performed in Delhi. BJP has also targeted Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in the first half; his house has also been raided.

Kejriwal took a dig at BJP by saying, “As a part of their conspiracy, they targeted Manish Sisodia first. They planted a frivolous case against him that he had gobbled funds under the garb of excise policy.”
