CANADA: Ten people lost their lives in a fatal mass stabbing incident, and 15 got badly injured in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan on Sunday. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police identified the two suspects as Damien Sanderson, aged 31, and Myles Sanderson, aged 30. Canada’s police surfaced the photos and descriptions of the offenders without acknowledging the crime’s motive.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau took to Twitter to share his condolences; he wrote, “The attacks in Saskatchewan today are horrific and heartbreaking. I’m thinking of those who lost a loved one and those who were injured.” This entire incident is horrendous and spine-chilling simultaneously because the cases read to mass violence more commonly seen in the United States, but this time it’s North America.

According to the police, the stabbings come about in 13 separate locations throughout James Smith Cree Nation and the village of Weldon. About 320 kilometres (200 miles) south of the crime scene, in Regina, authorities were alerted to the criminals’ presence after they were spotted driving a black Nissan Rogue.

In a media interaction Rhonda Blackmore, the commanding officer of the Saskatchewan Royal Canadian Mounted Police, said, “It appears that some of the victims may have been targeted, and some may be random. So, speaking to a motive would be extremely difficult at this point.” Furthermore, “It is horrific what has occurred in our province today.”

The RCMP took to their Twitter and wrote, “If in the Regina area, take precautions & consider sheltering in place. Do not leave a secure location. DO NOT APPROACH suspicious persons. Do not pick up hitchhikers. Report suspicious persons, emergencies or info to 9-1-1. Do not disclose police locations.” The criminals are walking free in the streets of Canada, which is more dangerous for everyone around the city. The victims should be put under custody without a wait; otherwise, they could harm many other innocent lives.
