UNITED STATES: The much-hyped Marvel Studios unveiled the trailer for the upcoming superhero film The Marvels. This marks the 33rd installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
The film features Brie Larson as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel, Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel and Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau. Nia DaCosta is the lady in the director’s chair for The Marvels. The filmmaker is popular for her take on crime drama featurettes like Littlewoods and horror movies like Candyman.
The trailer worked as fuel for the level of excitement and raised the bar of anticipation for all Marvel lovers. The sci-fi adventure featurette is all set to release in cinemas worldwide on November 10, 2023.
The official Twitter handle of Marvel Studios released the trailer and wrote, “This fall, #TheMarvels take flight. Watch the brand-new trailer, and don’t miss Captain Marvel, Monica Rambeau, and Ms. Marvel’s cosmic team-up, only in theatres November 10.”
The trailer introduces us to the trio of Captian Marvel, Monica Rambeau, and Ms. Marvel, who gear up for a new space adventure, or in particular, a new space mission. Though Carol Danvers is aware of the cosmic world and the dangers it poses, it will be interesting to witness how Kamala Khan and Monica will tackle the situation in space.
Keeping aside the superpowered trinity, a new threat known as Dar-Benn arrives to target each planet brimming with living beings. To her assistance, she, being a Kree, also wields an Accuser’s hammer.
The Marvels is a sequel to 2019’s action film Captain Marvel, which bagged huge numbers at the box-office.
Besides this, Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury, who is currently featured in the Disney+ series Secret Invasion, also made a prominent impression in the trailer as he took charge of the mission.
