JAPAN: Good news for anime fans, Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie is set to debut on Crunchyroll. The streaming giant announced the arrival date of the blockbuster anime film.
Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie is based on Gege Akutami’s manga which covers the prequel events of the anime series produced and distributed by the behemoths of the anime industry, MAPPA and Toho. The anime film follows the narrative of Yuta Okkotsu, who wields a grasp over a mighty, cursed spirit that lands him in Jujutsu High. This embarks Yuta on his quest to master his power with the aid of the strong sorcerers in his immediate vicinity.
Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is ready for the OTT debut
Crunchyroll unveiled a list of upcoming anime on Sunday, with Jujutsu Kaisen 0 standing as the highlight. The anime film will be accessible on the streaming service on September 21, 2022. Other anime films joining the OTT include Akira and Your Name, which will be available to stream on August 18, 2022. Josee, the Tiger, and the Fish, The Stranger by the Shore, and Human Lost will all be accessible from August 11, 2022. Wolf Children, The Boy and the Beast, and Sing a Bit of Harmony will premiere on August 25, 2022.

The movie debuted in Japan on December 24, 2021, and in the United States on March 18, 2022. With a staggering $189 million at the global box office and a ranking as the 8th highest-grossing anime feature, the movie can be described as a box office juggernaut.
Jujutsu Kaisen 0 made its Indian box office debut on June 30, 2022, smashing previous anime movie records. According to Sacnilk.com, the film bagged ₹ 4.85 crores at the box office in India. The anime feature’s Indian OTT release date is yet to be announced. The movie is expected to be accessible on Netflix India. The Jujutsu Kaisen anime series is currently available to stream on Netflix India.
